Tears Bring Growth...
Tears bring growth like rain brings flowers,
A day without you is Hell for twenty-four hours.
But tend our Soul's garden we must all do,
I just wish the pruning was done by you.
And when I feel shattered, lost, or lonely,
I give praise to God, who always hears me.
This must be the night for men posting poems about tears (I just finished reading a poem titled 'Shed your tears' by Dorsey Baker.) Something in the air, maybe? Hopefully by now, all that is behind you, and things have turned around for the better! Without the overcast days, we wouldn't appreciate the sunshine as much!
