Tears From The Heavens Poem by natalie vail

Tears From The Heavens

Rain can be great and refreshing.
What is rain?
Tears from the clouds?
No, clouds can't cry.
What if it was angels crying?
Why would angels cry?
Maybe people aren't entering heaven.
Maybe they're watching people suffering from the war.
Why do angels cry?
Maybe they're sad at our sins we perform.
I can't think of a way to make a angel cry.
Only ifs and maybes.

What if they were for joy?
What would the tears of joy be for?
Maybe they were reunited with loved ones.
Tears of joy for what?
Maybe they are happy for people on Earth.
Tears of joy for what?
We don't know what makes an angel cry for joy.
Maybe when everyone reaches heaven and meets them, we'll know.

What if the tears were from anger?
Could the angels be angry?
I could see how.
We are fighting with each other.
That could anger them.
We are wasting this earth away.
That could anger them.
There are so many ways to anger them, but we still do it.
Why?
A question only god and the angels could answer.
Maybe one day we will know why they cry.

There are different ways of crying: Tears of joy, tears of sadness, tears of rage. I like this poem but I would REALLY like to see you incorporate the different reasons for tears into a poem and not just focus on sadness.
