Rain drops, Rain drops pouring down
Like pearls falling from a princess crown
They are like nectar falling from heaven
It seems they come from cloud seven
As they fill the rivers, seas and water holes
The rain seem to quench every thirsty soul
The earth drapes a splendid green
The trees move as dancing queen
As the life blooms in full swing
The flowers smile and the birds sing
The rain drench all nice and fair
As love starts to blossom in the air
I feel you closer when it rains
Holding arms walking on a wet lane
Sipping a tea we had our talk
We took a walk chewing a corn cob
The shelter we took in a lil shed
Oh! How tightly the umbrella we held
We jumped on puddles big and small
Caught butterflies and the hail that fall
Oh! How I cherish those days
It seems it was only yesterday
You moved to a distant land
As I bid farewell from our love stand
You went away for a promise to keep
Left me in our sanctum of love reprieve
The rain brings back all those memoirs
Like a bittersweet symphony of ours
When it pours it brings back the pain
Hiding my tears I cry in the rain.
