Tears Of A Swan Poem by zarina binda

Tears Of A Swan

Rating: 4.0

White as a pearl,
Innocent of all,
Gliding through
This glossy ball.
Joined by those
As elegantly white.

Heads bend slightly,
Their posture one of pride.
Moonlight reflects
White shapes,
Heavenly respected.
But is that head bend
In sadness?
As the world rages on in its madness.

Destroying the mere beauty of life.
Destroying the children or husband or wife.
As buildings grow taller,
Nature disappears.
Leaving behind
Pearly white tears.
