Tears Of The Earth Poem by Mohabeer Beeharry

Tears Of The Earth

Rating: 5.0

When I see flowers
I thrill to the beauty of God.

When I find the sun has risen
I say to myself God has created another day.
Another marvel for me,
And for you
So that after a night's rest
We can by true living embark on our journey back to him.

Life is action
And action is life,
Both important parts of faith
And prayer.

Prayer without action is lip service to the Creator,
It makes beggars of us.
He has given me light to see,

Freedom to choose
And to rise above the mundane,
Mind to understand the wide screen play around us
And to fit it to his infinity.
For in us are both the finite and the infinity.

That which comes must one day go,
Man makes a sordid tragedy of it.
The wise,
The Avatars and the prophets,
The poor and the rich,
No one comes to stay.

They grow old too and finally depart,
For this world is itself here at the will of the Creator.
So the wise sees death as another way to immortality,
A celebration of the splendor of the Soul.

Cry not
This earth love, has seen more pain than you can imagine
No one has shed more tears than her,
Watching her children
One after another hopelessly carried by the current of time.

Her heart is not hard
But tender.
Her tears only go to enrich and fortify herself
That makes more welcoming haven for her future children.

Great poem stressing upon the doctrine of karma and the philosophy of life where death is integral to it. Thanks for sharing. I quote: So the wise sees death as another way to immortality, A celebration of the splendor of the Soul.
