Tears On The Table Poem by Victoria Gauci

Tears On The Table

Tears on the table,
Big water spots,
Fallen from the heartache,
As my mind is full of rot,

Suicide the cowards way,
I am driven by his devotion,
The strength in me amazes he,
Although I'm lost in this emotion,

Day by day it comes and goes,
Sometimes without a sound,
The turbulence and thunder storms,
Within my mind abound,

My shelter from the chaos,
My ship upon the sea,
He carries away my burdens,
That weigh so heavily,

What would I do?
Where would I be?
If I didn't have this man,
To love me?
