Tears Will Fall Poem by Rachel Brewer

The day is creeping up on us very quickly,
Too quickly.
And there’s nothing we can do to stop it.
The day when we die,
The day we leave for good,
The day people will say goodbye,
The day, tears will fall.
We will all have these days, probably more than once.
So prepare yourself.
For death, for funerals, for all the goodbyes.
And remember that your tears will fall for someone,
Just as someone else’s will surely fall for you.
