Teenager Poem by Vision Ghost

Teenager

When slowly awoken from the dark of her velvet sleep
And the secrets of last nights cyber sex is hers to keep
Not caring for the messages unread for more fortunes
Are so fathomed in the escape of horror and cartoons

Kicking over the glass of wine she didn’t get to finish
As she passed out before the moment so did diminish
But that was last night and thumping realities return
And the song she sang now has no meanings to burn

As a blank cheque of today is a sunless sky yet again
Work is now too far away to care less to repeat strain
With another rape on the front pages bestows paranoia
Of her parents who don’t understand, listen or notice her

But they left three hours ago; college is an off day today
So guessing breakfast is the unfinished Chinese so to say
Methodology of fashions encryption’s to fathom and understand
Bear witness to the body trying to be perfect in this land

As simultaneous knowledge is welcomed if not thirsted
Yet thrust into an impressionable mind so dispersed
But not the tragedy of social experimentation’s failure
A new expression found will live for five minutes allure

For yet as the world will soon see experts born in the youth
Despite government enforced criticism hurtful and uncouth
Young blood and fresh ideas brings more than bode witness
To love the next generation is to diminish their own duress

Too grown to play yet not old enough to ever stop hurting
As hearts still break they are as human as you yet so living
Take a look at their world beyond the kneecaps but in fear
Bold enough to take the wheel of their vessel to now steer
