Teeth Poem by Victor Keegan

Teeth

Rating: 4.0

I never told you
(you never asked)
but I always fancied your teeth
(Blimey, she said, and bit)
it's the only part of you
each day that's unexposed,
hidden from view
until you choose
to open up, so I
can share those moods:
wide laughing teeth
subtle, teasing teeth
softly tempting teeth
then suddenly
snarling without warning, teeth,
opening wide to shout your mind,
gradgrind when you're feeling unkind
then resting when you want to unwind
(Blimey, she said, and bit)
