Tell Me Poem by Laurette Nichole

Tell Me

Rating: 5.0

What can you tell me of hate?
Nothing.
Because it does not exist.
There is love.
Which has always been.
And hate is an ignorant wish.
Soldiers do not fight what they 'hate'.
They fight for what they love.
Hate has never been.
All we've ever had, was love.
Athletes. They win their games for love.
Hate has never stepped foot on a field.
Love is all there ever was.
And all that will ever be, still.
Go! Find me some hate.
Go searching, far and wide.
All you'll find is distorted, confused love.
Because that's all you can find.
You will not find the non-existent.
Like 'hate', which does Not exist!
Love is all that has ever been.
And all that will ever be, still.
