Would it make a difference if I said it to your face, or if I told A friend?
If I did anything besides hold it in.
Would you care enough to be a better you, or tell me all your feelings too?
If I gave you the truth.
And what if I didn't avoid your eyes?
Because I didn't want you to see the love in mine.
Would it make a difference if I loved you out loud?
I think not. So keep my gaze down.
And my shoulders do the same.
I try not to love you, since I know you couldn't be worth the pain.
But when the moon is up, and the stars ask if I have a wish;
I wish this: That it would make a difference.

One line makes this special for me - And my shoulders do the same this tells me you have the observational skills of a poet. This sets you a step apart in my eyes. You seem also, from the three poems so far, to have a natural sense of rhythm in your writing. I am intrigued. Please keep writing.
