Temptation Poem by Jon M. Nelson

The temptation is always around me,
Even if I am too blind to see.
When I think that my will is strong,
The temptation will prove me wrong.

If I feel it's just harmless flirting,
I have to think of who I'll be hurting.
The temptation catches me off guard
And all of my morals I will discard.

I have to listen to that inner voice,
To ensure I will make the right choice.
I must take a moment of hesitation,
To be sure I don't fall for the temptation
