Temptation Poem by Edwina Reizer

Temptation

Tempt me. Tease me.
Send me whirling 'round.
Lure me. Entice me.
My feet are off the ground.

Sensual explosions
invite me to explore
just what's waiting
right beyond the door.

Shall I give in to
my senses one by one?
Or deny them and wonder
if I'd come undone?

Safety's not knowing
if I'd ever be
daring, courageous,
spirited, carefree.

Tempt me. Tease me.
Send me whirling 'round.
Lure me. Entice me.
I'm waiting to be found.
