Tenderly
At a dance party
She, waltzing with Johnny
Oh, so very happy
Friends all dancing
wonderfully exciting
Many hearts joyfully beating
A hundred times faster
As they came closer
Dancing cheek to cheek
Then Johnny held the microphone
Announced in his tender tone
He and she would be married
Next year in May in Madrid.
