Terminating Love Poem by Jasmine Thompson

Terminating Love

My friends told me
that we shouldn't be together
but I told them to stuff it

My mom told me
we weren't meant for each other
but I ignored her words

I'm saying
I don't love you
I don't think I ever will

I'm terminating this love you have for me
Your chains of passion won't hold me

This love
has passed on

A lovely poem that describes how you've terminated your love because of your elders. It is really a nice poem composed with beautiful words and each words holds love.
