How can you say you love me
When you know that is not true
Maybe we were nothing
But I'll never get over you
First love lasts a life time
Real love lasts even longer
Both are very painful
But a broken heart makes one stronger
We both know it has to end
I can't go on like this forever
So I'll tear the letters you wrote me
And burn the pictures of us together
I'll stay up late at night crying
Erasing all the memories I have of you
Maybe I'm over-reacting
But what else can I do
You were the world to me
You made all my dreams seem real
But now you've left me so broken
