Tether - Poem by Patti Masterman
I miss you most when far away;
Your voice, gestures, things you say-
Our inside jokes and secret signs-
That say we're on the others mind.
I miss my heart, the part that's gone,
No matter what is going on;
There is a tether, miles above-
That stretches- to remind of love.
