Text Sex Poem by Dakota Ellerton

Text Sex

I leaned over him,
our breath insync.
Our flesh pressed together,
it was surprising.
I was falling in love,
or, out of love.
I heard my phone go off,
but could’ve cared less.
These thing’s running through my mind,
It’s not… you.
I moved with his body,
as he moved with mine.
His lips carressed my breasts,
as I moaned with each movement.
Why was I doing this?
I slid off,
to scavenge for my clothes.
He left the room,
and I followed shortly after.
After reading missed messages,
I could hardly stop from breaking into tears.
‘I’ll be thinking about you…’.
