all the while
the truth really and
still hurts
when you say it
and even when you
keep silent.

i prefer though
that it better settle
in silence,
not really though
that we pretend that
it does not exist,
but beautifully we
must learn
living with it in
peace.

i understand you
and you know it,
same here.
we embrace this
truth and keep our
happy thoughts.

so next time, i will
not say it,
and neither you
will mention it to me.

we go for a drink
enjoy each other's company
and talk about
much better things like
a vacation in bahamas,
a dinner in venice
a basking in copacobana beach
or a mountain trekking
in burma or a meditation
in bali.

and if we part again and
again we shall not say
goodbye, as i prefer the
better twin for that:
i will say, thank you.
