Thank You Anyway Poem by Lauren Coles

Thank you anyway
A perfect example of the perfect date is to go to dinner,
I'm not picky I'll eat anything,
The ride to the restaurant would be quite if it's a blind date,
But if you know the person you'll have lots of books to browse through on the self,
It is usually the guys job to hold the door open, pull out the chair for the lady, and pay the check,
The woman just has to sit there and look pretty,
People who are in the restaurant before you may stare at you for a while as you take a seat,
You may be wondering why you are in the spotlight,
The guy doesn't even need to remove a chair because you already in one,
This might sound like a line from a movie script but no pun intended,
This is just something I would that I would wish to happen.
