When life gets tough
You are always there,
To draw me close to You.
To hug me with Your mighty arms.

When people betray me,
You stay still beside me,
To stop my weeps.
To wipe away my tears.


When I sin against You,
You look at me with your loving eyes,
Yet, You don’t push me away.
You offer me forgiveness.

When I am full of my self-proud
I don’t count on You.
Still, You listen for my groans
And You help me in my distress.
