Thank You Mike Poem by Susan Wall

There was a guy named Mike,

he made me feel so psyched

when I thought of him.



I must say when I was young

Mike gave me insight.



When I grew up and became wise

I told him to take a hike.



We really never did fight

I didn’t like that kind of life.



One day I saw the light

so my heart followed the light.



This journey led me to take a flight

now is where I alight.

thank you for all the light you gave me.

We all have a purpose in this life

you helped save me, in the darkest time in my life.
