Thank You Sc: An Ode To The Homemaker Poem by Vinaya Joseph

Thank You Sc: An Ode To The Homemaker

In the quiet dawn, a symphony begins,
Where every note is a heartbeat,
Every step a dance of grace.
The homemaker, unseen artist of the day,
Weaves threads of love into the mundane.

Sunrise spills warmth over tidy rooms,
Dust motes play in golden beams,
Each task a whispered prayer,
A silent vow of care,
Hands, tender and strong,
Knead dough with dreams,
Stir pots with patience,
Fold laundry with hopes woven in seams.
Each chore a labor of love,
A testament to silent strength.

Children's laughter, a melody,
Echoes through well-tended halls.
Their joy, a reflection
Of a nurturing heart's resolve.
In gardens, she plants seeds,
Each bloom a triumph,
A testament to her touch.
In the kitchen, aromas swirl,
Stories told in spices and steam.

In the evening's embrace,
When twilight paints the sky,
The homemaker rests, a quiet hero,
Her work a tapestry,
Unseen but felt in every corner,
In every loving gaze.

Yet beyond these walls, a landmark call,
From the highest court of the land.
A judgment passed, a beacon bright,
Empowering hands that build our homes.
For the Supreme Court, in wisdom profound,
Declared justice for those often unseen.
A remedy for divorced Muslim women,
A secular path to dignity and strength,
Financial empowerment, social embrace,
A step towards equality's dawn.

No longer bound by shadows past,
Their futures now with brighter cast.
In this ruling, hope is sown,
Injustice faced, compassion grown.

To the homemakers, the silent guards,
This news a wind beneath their wings,
A recognition long overdue,
Of battles fought and victories won,
In homes and hearts across the land.

For in the heart of the home,
She builds a sanctuary,
Brick by brick, smile by smile,
Creating not just a house,
But a haven, where love resides.
And now, with justice by her side,
Her journey brightens, stride by stride.

In this tapestry of daily life,
Her strength now honored, her rights upheld,
A future woven with equity's thread,
Her story, a beacon, her spirit, unfurled.
