Thankful Most Days... Poem by Linda Engwall

Thankful Most Days...

That I am not just
Wandering around
Struggling to get it
Hoping I
Somehow I make a
Difference
For someone

Thankful most days
I have a family to love
And who loves me back
Most days
And that is enough
To carry me
Through until the next day

Thankful most days
That I remember I still have my health
And I should not ever take it
For granted
Cause when I don’t
I will be gone

Thankful most days
That I believe
I still hope
That I can make a difference
By doing what I do

Thankful most days
I understand what
I am suppose
To do by
Being here

Thankful most days
That I can get up each morning
And be glad that I am
Alive

Truly thankful most days
