Thanksgiving; Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Thanksgiving;

Thanksgiving

The tables laden with food
So good.
This festivity
With my family.

I love the gobble gobble
Of the turkey at my farm.
But alas, I saw them last.
Oh darn it, oh darn.

Thanksgiving is a holiday,
With friends.
Their friendship never ends,
On Thanksgiving Day.
