Thanksgiving Poem by Daniel Miltz

Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving Day
We're appreciative for
Our endowments, all year through
For family, we sincerely adore
Good companions, old and new
Sun to light, to warm our days
Stars that shine, during the evening
Trees of green and skies of blue

And puffy billows of white
We're appreciative for, our eyes that see
The excellence all around
For arms to embrace, and legs to walk
And ears to hear, each stable
Would fill an enormous book
Our grateful hearts find new joys
Wherever we look
