That I May Love More - Poem by Edgar James Momoh
If I love God more, I will make his Word and Service my delight
If I love people more, I will seek after their interests, not only mine
If I love my family more, I will give my best for them at all times
If I love my friends more, I will learn to forgive them their wrongs
If I love the unlovable more, they will learn to love; because love is more powerful than hate
If I love myself more, I will weed out of my life every habit, sin and behavior that does not contribute to my physical, spiritual and psychological growth.
Help me Lord to love more and my life will have more meaning to:
You, Others and Myself.
