That Life Is A Journey Poem by Francis Duggan

That Life Is A Journey

That life is a journey only true to say
A journey for everyone that ends some night or day
And even the strongest and fittest in their physical prime
Eventually will become victims of time
And time that ages never waits for anyone
Not even for the monarch or celebrity or their daughter or son
People of influence and billionaires eventually grow old
Time cannot be bribed with money or gold
Yes eventually time becomes everyone's foe
And people like Nature's Seasons to life come and from go
On looking back the years time seems to go fast
And all we have left are memories of the past
At midnight this evening today will have gone
And tomorrow will dawn and life will go on.
