That Place Poem by Nelson Mugisha Mulera

That Place

I hate that place
I hate that state
So lonely for one not to fret.

It’s a source of yearning
A place of longing
To quench the emotion
'I am missing you'.

It's evidence of value
Evidence of appreciation
A way of acceptance
A desire for oneness

It's a place to be
A place to treat
Ones emotions to fit
The other person’s needs

Don’t run from that place
Don’t fight that place
You’ll need it incase
Things do not stay in place
