That The Rain Did Not Fall

That The Rain Did Not Fall

Hear O' Hercules my beloved,
An epistle written in ink of blood.
This heritage I give you this day
As child that washes hands well.

God didn't create the ant big,
It'd have been stinging men to death;
Lamps aren't valued in the sun,
It does get appreciated at nights.

Only a wise dancer dances for long,
An unwise dancer courts shame.
He quits the dance floor
When ovation is the loudest,
That dances the best of all.

A dunce defecates on his rainment,
Enjoying the priviledges of royalty.

Hear o heavens, listen dear earth
Destiny makes a king;
Go tell it on mountains and plains,
That character dethrones him.

Be wise with speed, son.
Wisdom required to acquire a house, is nothing to that required to live in it.

Be courageous in days of adversity for;
You strip a child of what he has,
No one takes what he contains.

Just as the storms of the sea
Stop not the fish from snoring;
Sugarcane has no place of refuge:
Every situation suits a hardworker.

No matter how much the aeriel yam plant is pulled,
It will yet sprout to maturity.

Fear not a family head in whose charge, home becomes desolate!

Be vigilant like a crab in its shell.
Famine makes one eat fruits of strange trees,
And that deceit you see, is not wisdom:
Like a serpent, be wise; be gentle like a dove.

Always write this in your heart:
Eventually, a clock that struck O'clock would strike O'clock;
And like slave, like free-born,
No birth is superior to another;
Space for a kitten has a lodge for a mouse.

On my timeline, this, you have read:
After melon had been used to eat pounded yam,
Its peelings now became offensive and,
Having sustained the cocoa plant,
the plantain plant becomes repulsive to the farmer.

The tail of a lizard is not as big as that of the crocodile, they merely look alike.
A butterfly that compares itself to a bird
Simply, cannot act like one.
Just as a creeper that obstructs the elephant will find itself in the stream as well.

Same, a pepper remains inseparable from its character,
whether pounded or grinded.
For they are brood of vipers!

Well, those who looked at one with disdain should be thanked for many didnt bother we exist.

A stone thrown at a bird in anger can't kill the bird.
If the world backs an ant, it'll kill an elephant.
It is an empty vessel that is noisy.
Buy good character, it is superior to goodluck charms.

That the rain did not fall is no reason to wish the sea would flood the city!

Amangla awetu!

No one takes what he contains. For the truth comes from the heart. Nice work.
