That Thirst - Poem by nicolas m. soto

that awful thirst that won't go away
is driving me insane

i drink water from vases
then water from toilets
sweat from girl's faces
toilet is a really hard word to rhyme, that increases my thirst

i'm seeking for that precious liquid
that came from your mouth
a permanent fluid
that runs in your south

orgasm gasoline saliva anything

that thirst girl that thirst
all i'm trying to say is that my tongue misses yours

    the yearning
    to be bathed
    body and soul
    in sweet water
    or any liquid
    from the lover's soul
    a fine poem
