The Abyss Poem by James Comerford

The Abyss

That one moment in your life!
When you are standing on the edge,
Wondering what part of life would you miss
If you leapt into the abyss

The overwhelming wave of fear and optimism
As you stare in to that dark chasm, crying inside,
stepping closer to the end of your life,
Telling yourself.

There is nothing i will miss

As i step into the abyss

Perhaps a leap of faith is what's needed here. For once you make that jump, you exist in infinite possibility, and anything can happen. Sometimes you have to take that step, just be sure you're ready to fly! Linda :)
