The Ache Of Lost Love Poem by Francis Duggan

The Ache Of Lost Love

Since of his life she can no longer be a part
The ache of love is in her female heart
And for lost love she has shed many tears
And the ache of love can live for many years
Pining for lost love she waste her precious life's prime
Whilst with his new love he's having a great time
In her mid twenties a discarded Rose
Love has it's downsides one has to suppose
The joy of love that was first sealed with a kiss
Can turn to bitter disappointment from wonderful bliss
To tears shed for loss and to Seasons of woe
And of loves's disappointments who would wish to know
Of love in it's full bloom a joyful song to sing
But the ache of lost love is a miserable thing.
