The Aging Eroded Faces Poem by Haiqing Hua

The Aging Eroded Faces

Scarborough

The aging eroded faces

These aging eroded faces
In which time has broken into pieces
Only those lost memory
Layers of layers dimly looming

The aged eyes are in chaos
They are no longer as keen as they were
Their skin has become a crumpled white silk
Color faded clothes
Piled up in the old houses

Those aging eroded faces
Even with implant tooth
The appetite in the past cannot remain
They made up recent days
As all the cosmetics falling off

The aging is an irreversible proses
No matter how hard you try to escape or to hide
Time will grasp you so tightly
You have no other place to go

The aging eroded faces
