The Aisle Poem by Airda Jones

The Aisle

I can see the gown
And it looks so bright
But it does not compare
To your amazing sight

Flowers and music
Surround us all
But you look only at me
Like no one else is in the hall

The money and the time
Devotion that we spent
All comes down to
Just us in the end

The walk seems far
But I know I will arrive
And that once I'm there
You'll always be at my side

The whispers and the voices
Say that we got here finally
But it's only the beginning
For you and me.
