Experiences, milestones, all dutifully
recorded in our cerebral cortex
but does it record the little things?
Hugging a puppy, sitting under a tree
on a bright sunny day
do you remember these things
or did it all slip away?
In the greater scheme of life
the milestones have much lesser
importance than the little things
like simply enjoying what you have
and who you are, reveling in simple
contented bliss.

I just love this. The holographic brain remembers everything they say. But how does it order the importance of each event? I don't think it even does that. The annotated life- perfect title for this one.
