The Apocalypse Through An Angel’s Eyes Poem by Leonard Dantzler

The Apocalypse Through An Angel’s Eyes

The Clouds scream as God cries
The Sun hides as the Moon conquers
Delivering Satisfaction to the Down
Hearts break at the departure of Mother Earth and Father Time
The bitter cold blankets the hearts that warmth has forsaken
Shaken by thoughts of the end
They weep on broken knees

The Ocean howls as the Devil smiles
The battle was a pawn but the victory was the death of the Queen
Knights in shattered armor lay at the Castles rubble
The King is a puppet overthrown by the Rook

Crooks from the east meets the Dirt of the west
Grand tours of marble floors, polished in Saints blood
The End takes reign, while Before and After slay the Beginning
Repeating the repetition of his Father, the Reaper crowns Pandora
The alliance of his scythe and her box was a union that even the Devil couldn't deny fierce

Pity and Mercy scoured away, followed by Justice and Truth
Guilt and Shame are birthed in many as they ask 'What Have We Done? '
NOTHING! ! ! ! !
And these are the repercussions of something that would've been prevented if only they'd listened

And now their sins burn their skin
All their thoughtful lies, shine through their deceitful eyes
As the blood of their brothers glimmer as beautiful as diamonds on their hands
While their tears of hate desecrate the hopes of the Youth

Ok, I like the writing style. I used to be into the end of times, I did a lot of researching a few years ago.XD It's what actually appealed to me to faith.
