Winds Kiss Your Skin And Hold You Close W/O Me There Poem by Leonard Dantzler

Winds Kiss Your Skin And Hold You Close W/O Me There

And to the girl with the fierce eyes
Did you learn from falling hard, while your angel turned his back, to stand up on your own?
You move like the wind, gentle
but everybody knows the force you can bring along
Sweet eyes of chocolate, skin kissed by cocoa
You lay in a field of happiness and plump cheeks that never sag
Here's my shoulder for when your sad, but how rare is that?
Hidden in your eyes, is pain that the sun never sees
In the back of your mind is a solution on how to fix it
A mind so twisted it was only a matter of time before you and I Tangled up
I see a glint in your eyes, that around me you try to hide, but how soon does that prove foolish?
I open my arms and you open your heart and you guard while telling me everything
editing here and there
Do you miss me yet, my sadistic friend?
No Need to lie I know the answer!
I miss you too
Keep your heart safe until I come back for you
I mean who else could I joke with with jokes so cruel?
