The Birds Eye View Of The Last Kings Mind Poem by Leonard Dantzler

The Birds Eye View Of The Last Kings Mind

Take away the narcissists mirror
Vanish the crowd of the ostentatious
Be proud that no misnomer has been placed upon your brow
Mysterious they call us when everything we say sits on their eyelash
Behold the wonders of a befuddled tongue
Deep down under, war rages on, both there(Heart) and in here(Head)
Oh savior, Oh angels of the decent
Save me not
let me be
Let me perish
Wait turn back
My Heart Was Wrong and My Tongue was too Quick
I Only see Their Wings
It is to late
So let me rule here where your eyes glisten in amazement as I pull these words like jack rabbits from a hat
There were no nursery rhymes at nursing time
Just an incubator to shield me
But these words be ones that heal me
And when they've all changed I'll still be T.L King
