The Back End

In search of a name
for the attachment at the back of my house,

I tried 'hors d'oeuvre',
meaning 'outside the works' and 'outbuilding'.

I tried 'starters', 'the appetiser', 'the hangar'
and 'the hanger on'.

I tried 'the D-pend',
'the depend' and the 'day pon'.
