The Beaeuty Of Silence - Poem by Tondalaya Jefferson

The beauty of silence is the angelic presence of your daughters first words
It's the first step your son takes into a world with endless possibilities
The beauty of silence is that one prayer that's answered in ways you never dreamed of.
It's the tears in your eyes at you child's graduation.
The beauty of silence is coming home from a long day of work and dinner is cooked and homework is done.
It's the look you give your husband that says thank you for just being you.
The beauty of silence is seeing the birth of your first grandchild.
It's the pain you feel inside when you have to chastise your children
The beauty of silence is having 15 nieces and nephews and loving each and everyone of them regardless because they hold a small piece of you.
It's the light at the end of the tunnel that makes it all worth wile.
The beauty of silence is looking up at the stars and seeing loved once passed.
It's the realization that tomorrow is not promised
The beauty of silence is waking up and realizing that it was all a dream.

sound is does our ears..because when the sound increases to a certain level...our ears will just ignore iit....and everything will be silence....and no wonder, that there are times that silence is deafening :) (Report) Reply
