The Beast In You Poem by Jade Baker

The Beast In You

Rating: 5.0

Trapped beneath your arms,
Cant you see the terror in my eyes,
You’re hurting me,
But you’re clever,
Making bruises that you cant see,
You take and you take,
Pushing me till I break,
How can you call this love,
When I’m screaming,
Please, I’ve had enough,
How can no one hear me,
When you’re biting so hard,
You make my skin bleed,
I’m too weak,
Always afraid to speak,
How can you do this to me,
Why do I let you keep doing this to me

Jade you have really written a striking poem about the kind of love no one ever wants to taste. In rings so true. Another sad poem, but still a lovely poem just the same. Keep writing my friend and don't ever give up. Thanks for sharing it. David
