The Beautiful Blessing In Teaching Poem by Terence George Craddock

The Beautiful Blessing In Teaching

the most beautiful blessing in teaching
is not the preparation marking aspects
it is the blessing of students;

despite the difficulties
of study especially for less
gifted academic students,

the blessing for a teacher is the chance
the life defining rare opportunities
to inspire inquiring young minds
to introduce the wonder of possibilities;

the potential of abilities within them

knowing a teacher is sincere
cares despite all the difficulties
can result eventually in seeing students
achieve wonderful future dreams;

all students are important
all your dreams are important
it is also important that you support
each other in your dreams;

especially those experiencing
more difficulties in youthful studies

continue to prosper Jane
always enjoy the journey;

so many strengths
come not from arrival
at the destination
but in the beauty
experiences of the journey;

the most beautiful blessing
in rewarding teaching
is not never the time consuming

preparation marking aspects
it is the privileged blessing
of encountering willing students;

I would like to think all teachers
believe in their life met students
wish them well throughout life journeys;
