The Beauty Of Venice. Poem by Michael Cochrane

The Beauty Of Venice.

A love that keeps giving, beneath ancient stone, and marble, we drift in a gondola, where silver canals glow in the moonlight.
Violin playing Puccini as we glide into the melody of our hearts.
Oh Venice city of water and flame, every narrow street calls out your name.
The night air sings in a culture of music wine, and love.
Venice unfolds with stars above time moves on, and lovers embrace with a loving kiss as dawn rises, with the waking sea, a cathedral of light glowing tender and bright.
Painting the canals in amber harmony, forever in our memories.
