The Beggar Man Poem by Juan Olivarez

The Beggar Man

Treasure each minute, that you live.
Smile at everyone you see.
Remember of yourself to give,
To those less fortunate, than we.

Don't turn away from the beggar man,
Dig deep and pull out what you can.
Then hand it over with a smile,
It pays to go the extra mile.

Feel that warm feeling deep within?
And the goose bumps on your skin.
That is the feeling that you'll find,
When your heart does something kind.
