My book isn’t over
For you are not my last chapter.
The pages turn everyday
As I get farther and farther
Away from the crumpled page,
Where you still sit.
And everyday you fade
Farther and farther
To the back of my mind
Until one day,
It’s as if you didn’t exist.
But I won’t forget,
For that page
That page has attributed
To the wear and tear of my book.
I’m sure yours won’t be the last
Crumpled page,
And I doubt your chapter
Will be the only with an
Abrupt ending.
For the best is still unwritten.
No...this is as close as it gets to the best. maybe this is the best! I love this picee, its very well written, great flow, and great philosophy! Preets
