The Big Day Poem by Alison Gaff

The Big Day

Congrats I hear you're getting married
For far too long I feel you tarried
The families of both sides are gathering
To all watch Russ give you a ring

Your Dad will walk you down the aisle
And everyone there will wear a smile
He'll be so proud there by your side
As his daughter now becomes a bride

You've chosen Thailand for tour big day
Lets hope its sunshine all the way
So here's to happy ever after
Filled with joy and love and laughter.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Practicing Poetess 18 March 2017

A celebratory poem! I see that it's common practice on this site, amongst many of us, to submit older poems. I suppose many of us have been spouting poetry almost since we could talk!
