The birds fly east the birds fly west birds fly into their nest i see them perched on a cable wire or sitting on a tree their wings flap in the breeze as they fly away I hope that there'll come back so day. When it rains I sit by the window starring out at the bleak gray sky it makes me wonder why I can't be as free as they are. Sometimes I admire them from afar crows are my favorite ones it's fun watching them soar so high. When their not around the days seem to not go by. If only time could last longer for me to appreciate the true beauty of these majestic creatures which I adore so my my fondness for them is as such of two people who are in love a dove is a symbol of peace. As the old saying goes birds of a feather flock together.
1 - " when their not there" oops. they're not i've always heard " flock" , not " stick" . " The Origin of 'Birds of a Feather Flock Together' It was in use as far back as the mid-16th century." i understand poem well enough and i really like birds, but this doesn't LOOK like a poem. maybe you can call yours " punctuation-free po-et-ry" ? bri :)
Bri Edwards you shouldn't put down my poem because i worked very hard on it and can fix the errors very easily i don't need you're negativity to bring me down and don; t care what you think i bet you don't even write like the rest of us do on here. you're just someone who comes on this website just to read peoples poems and say whether they are good or not.
Well articulated and nicely brought forth with clarity of thought and mind. A beautiful work of art.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
2 - " Bachman Academy was a co-ed college-preparatory school.. It served to provide a non-traditional educational environment for students with learning differences, but who had average to above average intelligence." (i edited this from Wikipedia; the school closed in 2017 due, in part, to public schools providing more help for such students. It is listed as poet’s ‘Education’.) bri :)
