The Bluejay
The bluejay has announced his arrival.
He's hopping around my yard.
His appearance has been noticed
by small winged birds on guard.
Beautiful to see with capped blue head,
he's king when he's around.
It's best to keep your distance from him
while in flight or on the ground.
