The Boat Ride Poem by Meg Harrison

The Boat Ride

In the boat, We see dolphins
as they use their style of swimming,
They curve their body out of the water
and come down with a splash.
They are next to the boat but you have look fast,
this sight disappears in a flash.

In the distance People are seen
they are resting on the sand.
The people swimming with their bodies
bouncing in the ocean.
The boat as it passes by
the white waters come up
and splashes against the side.

We leave the ocean slowly until
the boat glides over the tall green grasses in the bay.
We see houses on either side on the way.
The boat stops at the dock.
So much time has passed by I am glad there was no clock.

A seaside experience is nicely written in simple and easily understandable words.
